Shimano Pitbull 8+ is very smooth, soft braided line with super low stretch. This new Plus version has Heat Sink Coating, silicone resin surface coating, which protects braided line from heat, especially from heat from abrasion.

Adoption of IZANAS® ultra-high-strength polyethylene fiber
This PE line uses IZANAS®, an ultra-high-strength polyethylene fiber produced by Toyobo Co. The fiber is approximately 8 times stronger than piano wire and has a moderate modulus of elasticity.
The Tough Cross construction method is crossed with the VT construction method, which prevents twisting.
A weaving process that combines the TOUGHCROSS and VT methods. Surface smoothness and linearity are improved, contributing to uniform strength, lower elongation, and better abrasion resistance.
Heat-resistant special silicone coating
